BREAKING: House Democrats Move to Force Trump Impeachment Vote

Rep. Al Green is at it again, proving that if nothing else, he is committed to repeating the same political stunt until the oxygen runs out on Capitol Hill. On Wednesday, the Texas Democrat filed yet another set of impeachment articles against President Trump, this time using a procedural trick that forces the House to vote within two legislative days. Green has introduced impeachment papers so many times this year that most lawmakers have stopped pretending to take him seriously. But by labeling this one as privileged, he finally backed his own leadership into a corner.

Green is claiming President Trump called for the execution of six Democratic lawmakers and threatened judges. That charge is pulled from Trump’s remarks after a few Democrats recklessly urged military personnel to refuse what they described as illegal orders. Instead of addressing the dangerous behavior of their colleagues, Democrats found it easier to accuse the president of violent intent and pretend outrage could substitute for evidence. Green went all in, declaring Trump an abuser of power who will continue to promote violence and dissolve the Republic. The man never misses an opportunity for dramatic flair.

The problem for Green is that his own party has no appetite for this circus. House Democrats already crushed one of his impeachment attempts in June, that time over Trump’s decision to order airstrikes on Iranian targets. Even now, leadership knows this latest effort is doomed, but thanks to Green’s procedural gambit they have no choice but to bring it to the floor. That means Democrats will once again showcase how divided and unserious their impeachment obsession has become.

And Green is not the only one swinging impeachment papers like confetti. Rep. Haley Stevens filed articles against HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., accusing him of betraying science. RFK Jr. has shaken up a bloated health bureaucracy that had grown far too comfortable, so naturally Democrats want him gone. Rep. Shri Thanedar followed suit by targeting War Secretary Pete Hegseth, claiming he issued orders to kill everybody aboard a suspected narco vessel. Thanedar insists this rises to the level of war crimes. It is amazing how many Democrats suddenly discovered their love for accountability once the officials in question stopped rubber stamping their ideology.

So now the House is locked into a vote leadership desperately hoped to avoid, all because one member refuses to accept reality. Green will force his showdown. The vote will fail. And Democrats will once again remind voters that while President Trump focuses on border security, inflation, and national strength, they remain fixated on political theater that goes nowhere.
