Iran Issues Terrifying Threat to US as Conflict with Israel Escalates

Iran is now threatening to strike U.S. military bases in response to Israel’s preemptive bombing campaign against its nuclear infrastructure—a move that could push the region closer to full-scale war and drag the United States deeper into a conflict that President Trump has been working tirelessly to deescalate.

A senior Iranian official, speaking to CNN, made it crystal clear: “Any country that attempts to defend the regime [Israel] against Iran’s operations will, in turn, see its regional bases and positions become new targets.” The message couldn’t be more obvious—America is in the crosshairs.

The statement followed a fiery speech by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who declared that Iran would “bring ruin to the Zionist regime” and promised revenge for what he claimed was a violation of Iran’s airspace and the deaths of “valued martyrs.” Iran responded with a barrage of ballistic missiles aimed at Tel Aviv, most of which were intercepted or failed to hit targets. But the intent is clear: Iran is on a warpath, and the U.S. is now a named enemy.

And yet, President Trump is urging restraint—without compromising on strength. While the U.S. is supporting Israeli defense systems with missile interception technology like Patriot and THAAD, Trump has made it clear that diplomacy should remain on the table.

Speaking with CNN’s Dana Bash, Trump said:
We of course support Israel, obviously and supported it like nobody has ever supported it… Iran should have listened to me when I said – I gave them a 60-day warning and today is day 61.

He added a chilling follow-up:
They should now come to the table to make a deal before it’s too late. It will be too late for them. You know the people I was dealing with are dead, the hardliners.

This is classic Trump—peace through strength. Unlike Biden’s cash-stuffed pallets and endless appeasement, Trump’s foreign policy has always been direct: make a deal or suffer the consequences. Iran didn’t listen, and now they’re facing Israel’s wrath—and possibly more.

If Iran dares to strike U.S. forces, it will cross a red line that Trump will not ignore. The Ayatollah may think he’s rallying a nation, but all he’s doing is setting up Iran for total isolation—or worse.

America stands with Israel. And if Iran wants a fight, they may soon regret asking for one.
