Michael LaRosa, who served as press secretary to First Lady Jill Biden, didn’t hold back during a blistering interview on Fox & Friends, exposing what many Americans have suspected for years: the Biden White House is allergic to transparency and addicted to cover-ups—even on the smallest details.

“This was a group in the White House who were allergic to transparency, and I’m talking about just in the East Wing,” LaRosa said, sounding more like a whistleblower than a former employee. “The very first day walking into the White House, the usher was fired, and I couldn’t get reporters straight answers, because nobody would give me straight answers.”

That set the tone for an administration obsessed with control and secrecy. LaRosa pointed to incidents involving everything from dog bites—yes, plural—to weddings that should’ve been simple PR wins but turned into media debacles because of the administration’s compulsive need to manage optics rather than tell the truth.

“They took days and months to be deliberative, and I’m talking about the small things, about when the dog bites occurred,” LaRosa said. “Or about the wedding with the grandkids. They got caught lying to the press about press coverage, because they were so scared to be transparent about anything.”

Now just imagine what was happening behind closed doors on the big stuff—like Joe Biden’s mental decline or his cancer diagnosis, which, conveniently, no one in his “world-class” medical team caught until it was too late.

LaRosa didn’t mince words on that topic either. He told journalist Tara Palmieri earlier this year that the Biden team “gaslighted” the American people on Biden’s condition, fully aware that his age and cognitive issues were a liability. “We were always, from day one, cognizant that age was an issue,” LaRosa said. “The gaslighting… the campaign, former colleagues… that is what they were doing.”

According to LaRosa, the team was “scared to death” every time Biden went off-script, which explains the note cards, the cheat sheets, and the pre-screened questions for friendly media outlets.
