President Trump Calls Out MTG Yet Again and Gives Her a New Nickname

President Trump has never exactly been shy about calling things the way he sees them, and this weekend he turned that spotlight straight onto Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. What used to be a solid political alliance has now turned into a full blown public spat, and Trump served up a new nickname for her that pretty much tells you where things stand. In his latest post on Truth Social, he referred to her as Marjorie “Traitor” Greene, adding that she is a disgrace to the Republican Party. When Trump starts assigning nicknames, you know the patience level has dropped to zero.

What makes this interesting is how fast this feud escalated. According to Fox News, this is not the first nickname he has tossed her way in the past couple of days. First there was Wacky Marjorie, then Marjorie Taylor Brown, complete with his explanation that green grass turns brown when it starts to rot. Only Trump could turn lawn care into political commentary. He even tied her to what he calls RINO behavior, grouping her in with Thomas Massie. That is a comparison guaranteed to sting in certain circles.

Greene, for her part, seems to be trying to frame the fight as something she never expected. She posted on X saying she was surprised that pushing for the release of Epstein files and defending victims of abuse led to this friction. She wrote that the situation speaks for itself, which may be her way of trying to calm the flames without actually backing down. Still, when a former ally is suddenly on the wrong side of Trump’s posts, it is almost impossible to pretend things are fine.

Naturally, X exploded with reactions. Some users immediately sided with Trump, others defended Greene, and a lot of people just seemed amused watching two of the loudest voices in politics collide. Alex Jones chimed in because of course he did, tossing gasoline on the conversation. Catturd lined up behind President Trump without hesitation, which surprised absolutely nobody. Then you had former Representative Matt Gaetz walking the tightrope, taking a middle position and trying not to make either side mad. He is one of the few who can thread that needle without blowing up his entire online comment section.

Whatever anyone thinks of it, the feud highlights something important. President Trump still commands the center of gravity inside the conservative movement, and when he decides someone is off the reservation, the ripple effect spreads fast. Greene may try to weather the storm, but this is not the kind of attention she wants heading into another political cycle. For now, the nicknames are flying and neither side seems ready to blink.
