Because let’s be honest, this isn’t about Rahm’s so-called political genius (spoiler: he has none). This is about Barack Obama pulling the strings for another four years, with Emanuel as his dutiful puppet.

Remember, this is the same Rahm Emanuel who infamously said: “You never let a serious crisis go to waste.” Translation: exploit every disaster to push radical big-government policies.
- As Obama’s White House Chief of Staff, he helped ram through Obamacare, the failed stimulus, and every other economy-crushing policy Democrats could dream up.
- As Mayor of Chicago, he oversaw a crime surge, business flight, and population collapse. The only thing he successfully ran was the city into the ground.
- And now, we’re supposed to believe he should be in charge of the entire country? What could possibly go wrong?
Rebranding as the “Sensible Democrat”—Too Little, Too Late
Now, Emanuel is trying to rebrand himself as the moderate, “practical” Democrat. He’s suddenly claiming he’s “done” with the locker room and bathroom debates and wants to focus on education.
Oh wow, how brave.
If he really meant it, he would have said this years ago—back when the left was forcing radical gender policies onto kids. But this isn’t about principle—it’s about political survival. The Democrats know their woke nonsense is toxic, so they’re scrambling to create distance from the mess they created.
Will the Democrat Base Even Buy It?
That’s the real question. While Emanuel is trying to pivot, the radical activists who control the Democrat Party aren’t budging. They are obsessed with identity politics, and they won’t be thrilled with a corporate-friendly, Wall Street-connected, old-school Democrat who doesn’t check any of their woke boxes.
So sure, Rahm can try to position himself as the savior of the Democrat Party, but the reality is, the party is too far gone. The far-left base won’t rally behind him, and the establishment is desperately clinging to power.
