Shocking Betrayal by Four GOP Senators Who Voted Against Trump’s Tariff Strategy

Well, the Senate just reminded us again why so many Americans have had it with D.C. On Thursday, in yet another pathetic display of loyalty to global special interests, the U.S. Senate voted 51 to 47 to gut President Trump’s authority to impose tariffs. These are the same tariffs that helped revive American manufacturing, defend our national interests, and finally hold cheating foreign countries accountable.

And yes, they even targeted the tariffs on China. That’s right. China. The country that has stolen our intellectual property, manipulated their currency, and hollowed out American industries for decades. Apparently, the geniuses in the Senate think that giving China a free pass is better than supporting the one president who actually stood up to them.

Of course, this betrayal wasn’t done without help from the usual suspects. Four Republican Senators once again sided with Democrats to sell out the American worker. Lisa Murkowski from Alaska, Mitch McConnell from Kentucky, Susan Collins from Maine, and Rand Paul from Kentucky voted to strip away President Trump’s tools for economic self-defense.

And let’s be clear. This isn’t a one-time fluke. It’s a coordinated sabotage effort. Just this week, the Senate voted three times to dismantle Trump’s America First trade policies.

On Tuesday, they voted 52 to 48 to repeal Trump’s 50 percent tariffs on Brazil. Again, five RINO Republicans joined in: Rand Paul, Thom Tillis, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitch McConnell. Do they even understand what they’re doing? Brazil, like China, has been dumping cheap goods into the U.S. market while American workers pay the price. Trump slapped a tariff on them. The Senate said, “Nah, we’d rather help Brazil.”

Then on Wednesday, the Senate voted again to remove Trump’s tariffs on Canada. For the second time this year. And who were the Republicans who jumped ship? You guessed it. Paul, McConnell, Murkowski, and Collins. These people act like their job is to represent Ottawa and Beijing instead of their own constituents.

Luckily, House Speaker Mike Johnson has already said he won’t even hold a vote on these clown show bills. And even if the legislation somehow landed on Trump’s desk, he’d veto it in a heartbeat. Meanwhile, President Trump is fighting back and taking his tariff authority case all the way to the Supreme Court.

The globalists in both parties can cry all they want. The American people are watching. Trump’s tariffs were working, and no amount of Senate backstabbing is going to change that.
