In yet another glaring example of the left’s two-tiered justice system, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has quietly dropped all charges against Brianna J. Rivers, the pro-abortion extremist who viciously attacked pro-life activist Savannah Craven Antao back in April. Despite damning video evidence, hospital records, and over $3,000 in medical bills, Bragg’s office allowed the case to collapse on “speedy trial” grounds leaving Rivers free and unaccountable.
The attack took place on April 3, 2025, in Harlem. Savannah, a rising voice with Live Action, was conducting peaceful street interviews for her project “What Does Planned Parenthood Do? Perception vs. Reality?” when Rivers approached her and her husband, Henry. At first, the encounter seemed cordial, with Rivers complimenting Savannah’s dress and Henry’s skin tone. But the pleasantries quickly soured when Rivers declared that society should “k–l all the kids in foster care.”
@savannahantao was brutally assaulted while doing a street interview, it was caught on camera and now it has been downgraded to a misdemeanor by a law student that was allowed to handle her case without her being notified. Shocked but composed, Savannah pressed her with respectful questions. That’s when Rivers snapped. On video, she was seen punching Savannah in the face twice before Henry intervened and called 911. Savannah was taken to the hospital and required stitches for her injuries.
NYPD arrested Rivers and initially charged her with second-degree assault, a felony. But under Bragg’s notorious soft-on-crime approach, the charge was downgraded to a misdemeanor and then dismissed altogether. The supposed reason? Prosecutors failed to file a routine certificate of readiness, which automatically triggered dismissal under speedy trial rules.
To make matters worse, Savannah revealed in a video update that her case had been assigned not to an experienced prosecutor but to a law school graduate operating under a student practice rule meant for minor misdemeanors, not violent felonies. She and her attorneys say they repeatedly tried to contact Bragg’s office for updates but were ignored.
“It is inconceivable that a violent assault case such as this—one that received widespread media attention, including that shocking video—would be put into the hands of somebody not even admitted to the New York Bar, who then allowed for the case to be dismissed,” Savannah said.
Rivers has shown zero remorse, reportedly mocking the assault online. Meanwhile, Savannah continues to demand justice not just for herself but for peaceful pro-life advocates across the country. “No one, on either side of the aisle, should experience physical violence for using their First Amendment right. Shame on you, Alvin Bragg.”
This is the reality in Biden’s America: political violence against conservatives goes unpunished, while leftist prosecutors protect their ideological allies. Justice, once again, is sacrificed on the altar of politics.
Boy those Democrat judges should be thoroughly investigated. Remember Americans Democrat judges like this coming to your neighborhood by voting vote for a Democrat. And crime will flourish. This is what they do. Promote crime. Fact.
