Ted Cruz Warns House Republican Becoming “Very Liberal” and Should Be Ignored

Senator Ted Cruz has decided he’s officially over Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and he’s not pulling punches. According to Cruz, the Georgia firebrand is veering hard to the left, and he’s advising everyone to just ignore her. That’s coming from one of the most high-profile conservatives in the Senate.

In a recent interview on CNBC’s Squawk Box, Cruz said, “What I’ve found is that whenever an elected official decides that they are going to turn on Israel and hate Israel, you will very quickly see every other policy out of their mouth become very, very liberal.” He went on to say Marjorie is suddenly sounding like a fan of “massive government spending, taxes, open borders, and amnesty.” Sounds more like Bernie Sanders than the flamethrower Greene once was on the House floor.

Cruz added bluntly, “People should not spend much time worrying about what Marjorie is saying.” Translation: she’s become more of a liability than an ally.

This clash has been brewing for a while. Greene has made herself the loudest voice in the room when it comes to criticizing House Speaker Mike Johnson, especially on his lack of a real plan to replace Obamacare. This week, she slammed him on X, claiming he’s keeping the Republican health care strategy locked in a SCIF, like it’s some kind of top-secret launch code.

But Cruz isn’t the only Republican raising an eyebrow. Senator Bernie Moreno also took a shot at Greene, telling CNN, “If this is something she’s passionate about, put pen to paper, write a bill, present an option. Don’t just criticize what other people are doing.” That’s Washington-speak for “do your job or sit down.”

This all comes after a strange post from Greene last month where she insisted she’s “not suicidal” and warned her supporters that if something happens to her, it might be the work of foreign governments trying to stop her from releasing information related to Jeffrey Epstein. Cruz’s reaction was a tweet saying, “Why do crazy people keep thinking ‘the Jews’ are trying to kill them?”

That sparked a furious response from Greene, who called Cruz’s comment “disgusting and utterly false,” saying she’s calling out foreign governments and special interest money, not Jewish people.

This is no longer just a policy disagreement. It’s turning into a civil war inside the GOP. With Cruz labeling Greene a “liberal” and calling her out over conspiracy posts, it’s clear the gloves are off.
