Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has sunk to a new low, spreading blatant falsehoods about the tragic ass***ination of Charlie Kirk. On his latest show, Kimmel casually claimed the killer was a “MAGA extremist,” despite zero evidence supporting the accusation.
This isn’t just irresponsible. It’s dangerous.
ABC holds taxpayer-funded broadcast licenses with the explicit legal duty to serve in the ‘public interest’ with fair and truthful coverage.

Kirk was gunned down by a radical left-wing extremist who lived with a transgender partner and had a documented history of violent, far-left rhetoric. Yet Kimmel, desperate to score cheap political points, flipped the truth completely on its head to smear millions of patriotic Americans.
He didn’t correct the record. He didn’t present facts. He simply parroted a narrative to demonize anyone who supports President Trump or conservative values.
This is the exact kind of propaganda that fuels division in this country. It is not enough for the left to control the media, Hollywood, and Big Tech. They must also distort every tragedy into a weapon to attack their political enemies.
Never mind that the assassin targeted one of the most prominent conservative voices in America. Never mind that the shooter’s own online history was filled with anti-Trump rants and support for far-left ideologies. According to Kimmel and his leftist friends, facts do not matter. Only the narrative matters.
This is exactly why trust in mainstream media and Hollywood elites has plummeted. Americans are waking up. They know they are being lied to. They know the truth is being buried in favor of spin.
Charlie Kirk was a patriot. He stood up for faith, freedom, and the Constitution. His life was taken by someone who hated those values. For Jimmy Kimmel to smear Kirk’s supporters as somehow responsible for his murder is not only false, it is sickening.
We do not have to tolerate this.
We must call it out. We must demand accountability. And we must support the few remaining voices in media and politics who are willing to speak the truth.
