The Supreme Court finally handed conservatives a major win this week, and it’s about time. In a 6-3 ruling that sent Planned Parenthood and the far-left into their usual social media meltdown, the Court sided with South Carolina in its fight to block Medicaid dollars from flowing to America’s most notorious abortion mill. Translation: states don’t have to bankroll Planned Parenthood under the excuse of “healthcare” when we all know what their primary business really is.

Justice Neil Gorsuch, writing for the majority, made it plain and simple. Federal law doesn’t give individuals the right to sue because they’re upset about their choice of medical provider under Medicaid. Congress could’ve written that into the law if they wanted, but they didn’t. As Gorsuch said, “That is not the law we have.” Pretty straightforward, unless you’re a left-wing activist lawyer trying to twist everything into a constitutional crisis.
Planned Parenthood, of course, was hoping to sneak more federal money in through Medicaid reimbursements. They love to say those funds don’t go directly to abortions, but anyone with common sense knows that money is fungible. You fund one side of their operations, it frees up resources for the abortion side. Conservatives have pointed this out for decades, and finally, the highest court in the land agrees that states like South Carolina have the right to pull the plug.
Naturally, the liberal justices, led by Ketanji Brown Jackson, went into full panic mode. Jackson tried to tie this ruling to some grand attack on the Civil Rights Act of 1871, claiming South Carolina is somehow trampling people’s rights by keeping taxpayer dollars away from abortion clinics. Give me a break. The real “civil rights” issue here is protecting the unborn, not boosting Planned Parenthood’s bottom line.
Let’s not forget, South Carolina’s been pushing hard to defend life since Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022. They’ve got a six-week abortion ban on the books, and Planned Parenthood’s presence in the state has been reduced to just two locations. This ruling adds fuel to that momentum and sends a message to every other state: You don’t have to fund Planned Parenthood’s political machine under the Medicaid banner.
With more major cases pending, including those on gun rights, Trump’s moves to end birthright citizenship, and presidential immunity, it’s shaping up to be a rough summer for the left. Conservatives, on the other hand, finally have reason to celebrate as the Supreme Court keeps delivering common-sense victories.
When in the hell is the supreme court going to start protecting our rights. The second amendment is the only amendment that is being infringed. Cmon Supreme Court, get with the program and stand up for all our rights.
