Nick Shirley’s reporting did not just go viral, it flipped a switch. After his videos exposed multiple Minnesota daycare centers receiving millions in taxpayer funds while appearing completely inactive, ordinary Minnesotans started doing what state regulators apparently failed to do for years. They looked. They checked records. They paid attention.
On neighborhood forums and local social media groups, residents began cross referencing childcare licensing databases with what they were seeing in real life. The pattern was familiar. Buildings licensed for dozens of children with little to no visible activity. Parents never seen dropping off or picking up kids. Lights off during business hours. One of the centers flagged by locals was Nokomis Daycare Center in south Minneapolis. Multiple residents said they had never once seen children coming or going.
Oh FFS.
Someone drops the dirt on a daycare center in Minneapolis and they have a break-in…
Luckily for the daycare center, the record books were reportedly stolen.
Imagine that. https://t.co/wFI5P0xkBN

🚨 LMAO! The Somali Daycare who falsely claim someone broke in and stole their “student enrollment” documents are now showing off the where the “burglar” entered
Unfortunately for them though, the cuts in the Sheetrock seem to have been made on the INSIDE

Then things got strange.
According to Ismail Royer, identified as a Muslim father of six connected to the center, Nokomis Daycare was recently hit by vandals. Royer said thieves broke in and stole the daycare’s checkbook along with documents belonging to parents. Not electronics. Not computers. Not cash drawers. Just paperwork tied to finances and families.
The timing could not be worse.
This alleged break in comes as state and federal authorities are ramping up audits and inspections tied to a widening probe into suspected misuse of public childcare funds. Agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security have already signaled that Minnesota’s human services programs are under serious scrutiny. Auditors care about records. Inspectors care about paper trails. And suddenly, at a center already being questioned by the public, those records are gone.
Royer described the incident publicly, calling it disturbing and unfortunate. As of now, police have not confirmed suspects or arrests, and there has been no clear statement about whether surveillance cameras were operating at the facility. That lack of clarity only adds to the suspicion.
State officials continue to insist that inspections are ongoing and that claims of widespread fraud have not been substantiated. That line is wearing thin. Shirley’s original footage showed empty centers across the Twin Cities. Licensing data shows massive payouts. Residents are now confirming with their own eyes that something does not add up.
The Nokomis incident has become a flashpoint because it fits a troubling pattern. When scrutiny increases, documentation disappears. Critics say it is either an astonishing coincidence or a sign that panic is setting in among operators who know the numbers will not survive a serious audit.
Citizen sleuthing is not going away. Once people realize how much of their tax money is involved, curiosity turns into anger fast. Minnesota officials spent years telling residents everything was fine. Now the public is looking for itself.
And the more they look, the worse this story seems to get.

Get these fraudsters the fuck out of our country NOW! And all the other losers with them. Get rid of Ilhan Omar, Priya Jayapal, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and AOC. Get these motherfuckers out or we will.
