Unhinged Keith Olbermann Appears to Threaten CNN’s Scott Jennings with Chilling Message

There was a time, believe it or not, when Keith Olbermann was considered a somewhat credible voice in American media. He had the suit, the MSNBC platform, the smug smirk that screamed “I’m smarter than you,” and enough arrogance to fill a stadium. But wow, have the wheels come off. At this point, Olbermann is basically just the guy shouting on a park bench, except he has Wi-Fi and an X account.

Let’s talk about what happened. Last week, after the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk — something you’d think would bring even the most hardened political loudmouths to pause — Olbermann instead launched into a grotesque rant saying Kirk was “in hell.” Not just inappropriate, but downright depraved. This is where Keith’s mind is at: someone’s brutally killed, and his first thought is to throw a party in the afterlife.

But it didn’t stop there. Now he’s seemingly threatening CNN’s only actual conservative voice, Scott Jennings. CNN, of course, keeps its token conservative around to pretend it’s balanced. Jennings, a respectable, policy-minded guy who somehow manages to survive the lion’s den that is CNN, dared to react to Jimmy Kimmel being reinstated after making disgusting remarks following Kirk’s death. That apparently triggered Olbermann into full rage mode.

“You’re next mf–er,” Olbermann posted in a now-deleted tweet. He also added, “But keep mugging to the camera.” Sounds less like a political debate and more like the ramblings of a guy who thinks he’s auditioning for a Scorsese mob flick.

Jennings retweeted the threats and tagged FBI Director Kash Patel. That tells you how seriously it was taken. I mean, when you’re tagging federal law enforcement because of a tweet from a former primetime host, we’ve clearly crossed over from “online drama” into “this guy might be dangerous” territory.

Let’s be blunt: Keith Olbermann is not okay. And no, this isn’t just “oh, he’s passionate” or “he’s fighting fascism” as the Left would love to spin it. This is a grown man, in his 60s, spiraling into online threats and ghoulish taunts like some unhinged Reddit troll with a press pass.

At what point does someone stage an intervention? Preferably with the men in white coats and one of those butterfly nets? Because if this is what passes for liberal thought leadership these days, then it’s no wonder America is tuning these people out.
