CNN Host Sounds Alarm on Democrats’ Future and It’s Worse Than Anyone Expected!

Two decades ago, Democrats were confidently predicting a “demographic destiny”, a future in which growing minority populations and urban voters would deliver a permanent national majority. But today, that prophecy has fallen apart.

In a sobering segment aired on CNN, senior data analyst Harry Enten offered a brutal assessment of the Democratic Party’s weakening position across the electoral map, particularly in the key battleground states that will decide future elections.

“Bad, bad, bad. What are you doing?” Enten said, summarizing the Democrats’ poor voter registration performance. He highlighted Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania — four swing states where Republican voter registration is surging.

Across those states, Enten noted, the Republican Party is in its strongest position at this point in an election cycle since at least 2005. North Carolina, for instance, has seen a major uptick in Republican registration ahead of a high-profile U.S. Senate race, and Enten remarked he “couldn’t find a point at which Republicans were doing better at this point in the cycle.”

Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania all voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and later flipped to Joe Biden in 2020. However, they appear to be trending back toward the GOP after Republican gains in 2024, gains largely driven by voter registration campaigns launched under former RNC Chair Michael Whatley.

Since Trump’s first term, Republican registration has jumped 3% in Arizona and 6 to 8 percentage points in Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. These numbers reflect both the recruitment of new voters and the defection of disillusioned Democrats.

“My goodness gracious,” Enten said. “Republicans, they are converting old, former Democrats to their side of the ledger as well as picking up new voters… and it absolutely paid off for them in the 2024 election.”

On Monday, The New York Times added further gloom for Democrats, reporting that the 2030 census could tilt the Electoral College even more in the GOP’s favor. Major blue states like California, New York, and Illinois are losing residents due to affordability concerns, with many fleeing to red states like Texas and Florida.

Ironically, the Times noted, Democrats may have to turn to the South for new opportunities. But years of donor neglect and crumbling state party infrastructure have left them poorly equipped to compete in those regions.

The Democratic “demographic destiny” has not just stalled; it may have completely collapsed.

  • CNN and crew are happy to use voter registration as a straw man to divert attention from Dem’s actual problem. Same kind of gaslighting as calling riots with burning buildings “mostly peaceful” and saying illegal gangs taking over a “few buildings” was not a problem.
The root cause of Dem’s problem is they do not care about citizens. Dems have demonstrated they put illegals before citizens and protect criminals. They waste billions of dollars to prop up woke nonsense. Dems and the MSM cannot imagine actually connecting with everyday people and understanding their concerns. They “connect” by lecturing people. Example: In four years, Harris actually went to the southern border one time. She spent a full 20 minutes on site, promising to fix the immigration system.
In the Oprah video, she told that couple things would turn around once she implemented her )(something for every one) “Opportunity Economy.” No specifics, but it was going to take into account their “hopes, dreams, and aspirations.”
