Anthony Fauci’s pandemic legacy just took another hit, and this time, it’s coming straight from his own inbox.
A batch of newly released emails from Fauci’s time as the nation’s top infectious disease bureaucrat is raising some serious red flags — and possibly perjury alarms. The emails, made public by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, show Fauci was a lot more secretive behind the scenes than he let on in his carefully rehearsed testimony to Congress. If nothing else, they reinforce what many Americans already suspected: Fauci wasn’t telling the full story.
Senator Rand Paul isn’t letting it slide. He fired off a letter to Fauci this week, demanding answers about what looks like blatant contradictions between Fauci’s sworn testimony and these newly unearthed emails. At the heart of it is a particularly shady message from February 2, 2020, where Fauci told then-NIH Director Francis Collins, “Please delete this e-mail after you read it.” Not exactly the behavior of someone who’s got nothing to hide.

The coverup began while the virus was barely on America’s radar. Just one day after the Feb. 1, 2020 Proximal Origins call, Fauci, Francis Collins, and Jeremy Farrar plotted how to “get ahead of the science and the narrative” under WHO.

In another gem dated July 20, 2020, Fauci wrote to an NIH employee, “I do not want to engage any more with this nonsense. And so, please delete this e-mail after you read it.” These aren’t messages about pizza orders. This was in the middle of a global pandemic, during a time when the public was being told to trust the science. Apparently, “the science” came with a shredder and a delete button.
Fauci previously told Congress he had never deleted correspondence related to the Wuhan lab or COVID origins that would fall under the Freedom of Information Act. That claim now looks about as reliable as his six-foot distancing rule.
Senator Paul, who’s made it his mission to expose what really went down with federal funding of the Wuhan lab and the U.S. government’s ties to gain-of-function research, says he’s ready to subpoena Fauci if needed. He’s already offered multiple dates this fall for Fauci to return and testify again — this time under more scrutiny.
Adding a bizarre twist to the story is the report that President Biden granted Fauci a preemptive pardon before leaving office. That move alone tells you they knew what might be coming.
Rand Paul says the investigation is far from over. And if these emails are any indication, the questions for Fauci are just getting started.
In a speech 11 January 2017, at Georgetown Univ, Dr Fauci said,”there is “no doubt” Donald J. Trump will be confronted with a surprise infectious disease outbreak during his presidency.”
Even Snopes admits he said exactly that.
I watched many of the White house briefings in 2020. Fauci always hedged on every issue.
The MSM has never covered the interview Fauci gave on 25 Dec 2020, quoted in the NYT. He admitted he had lied about herd immunity and other things from the from the start of the pandemic. He knew his confession would be ignored for two reasons:
1. It was the Christmas Day news cycle.
2. It would amount to a speck of dust in the MSM hurricane of gushing about Biden’s election and non-stop anti-trump screeds.
But, Dems and the MSM still push him as an authority.
When ever has a Democrat ever told the whole story. Americans are aware of that now. That is why Trump was elected. And the worst part is the Democrats are still doing that today.
