George Stephanopoulos Caught Spreading Massive LIE About Trump and Texas Flood Tragedy

It’s almost impressive how fast the left-wing media can twist a tragedy into political propaganda, but ABC’s George Stephanopoulos just took it to another level this weekend. You’d think after getting burned with that $16 million lawsuit loss to President Trump, George would pump the brakes on the fake news machine. But no, apparently even when families are grieving and bodies are still being recovered, there’s no low too low for the media elite.

Here’s the real story they won’t focus on: Over the Fourth of July weekend, devastating floods from the Guadalupe River in Kerr County, Texas, killed at least 70 innocent Americans. Fourteen of those were young girls attending Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp. Dozens of others are still missing, and the search efforts are ongoing. First responders, including Texas crews and the Coast Guard, have already saved over 850 lives, with more rescue operations underway.

In the middle of that heartbreak, President Trump wasted no time stepping up. He signed a “Major Disaster Declaration” to get critical federal relief flowing to Kerr County as fast as possible. You’d think even the most partisan media talking heads would have the decency to focus on recovery efforts and honoring the victims. But nope, not George Stephanopoulos. The guy couldn’t resist turning ABC’s Sunday morning show into another anti-Trump smear job.

Stephanopoulos tried to pin the deaths on supposed budget cuts to the National Weather Service (NWS), claiming there were “significant staffing shortfalls” in the region. Cue the dramatic music. The only problem? It was a total lie. Turns out, not only were there no staffing shortfalls, but the NWS had extra personnel working during the storms. Classic leftist narrative: facts optional, outrage mandatory.

White House Deputy Secretary Abigail Jackson quickly called him out, citing Wired (of all places) confirming that the Trump Administration did nothing wrong regarding the NWS. Even a tech outlet that leans left wasn’t playing along with George’s fiction this time.

It’s disgraceful how predictable this has become. There’s a tragedy, Trump acts like a leader, and within hours the corporate media is cooking up false narratives to undercut him. Maybe George should worry less about spinning fake scandals and more about paying off his legal bills. Another defamation lawsuit might be coming his way, and after losing $16 million, you’d think he’d learned by now. Guess not.

  • George Stephanopoulos is a danger to society – his lies are conducive to inciting riots and unrest. Lies also wastes time and money that could be better spent on helping people instead of making their lives worse.

  • Who watches or listens to this cock sucker everyone knows what comes out of his mouth is the same that comes out his ass and his breath stinks.

  • I see big major lawsuits coming to ABC and poor old George. Hopefully both will go bankrupt.
