REPORT: Barron Trump Pitched for Top Role at Tech Company

Well, this one’s going to make a lot of liberal heads explode. Barron Trump might be heading to TikTok. Yep, the 19-year-old son of President Trump is reportedly being considered for a senior leadership role at the newly American-owned version of TikTok, following his widely acknowledged influence in helping his father reach younger voters during the 2024 campaign.

From internet meme to potential tech executive, it looks like Barron Trump might just be following in his father’s footsteps in a very Gen Z kind of way.

According to reports, including from the Daily Mail, former White House social media director Jake Advent, better known as “TikTok Jack” on the campaign trail, has floated the idea of appointing Barron to the board of the U.S.-run TikTok platform. Advent, who was instrumental in getting President Trump back on TikTok earlier this year, argued that younger users need a voice in how the platform is managed, especially now that it’s being pulled out of the CCP’s hands and handed over to American investors.

Let’s not forget, it was President Trump who made this whole deal possible. After months of threats, negotiations, and executive orders, the White House finally forced ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok, to sell off its U.S. operations to American investors. Trump signed the executive order, the investors stepped in, and TikTok was saved for millions of users and small businesses who rely on it every day. And unlike Biden, who spent four years ignoring the China threat unless it involved Hunter’s bank account, Trump actually did something about it.

As for Barron, while he hasn’t officially commented on the potential role, his influence in the 2024 campaign didn’t go unnoticed. Trump himself credited Barron for helping him understand and appeal to younger voters. Melania even said that her son “knows his generation” and helped his father better connect with young Americans. Say what you want, but the kid clearly has political instincts and digital savvy in his DNA.

Now, to be clear, nothing is official yet. The new U.S.-run TikTok will have a seven-member board, and names are still being finalized. But if Barron gets the nod, it would be a fascinating move. The left mocked him for years. Now he might end up shaping the most powerful youth communication platform in the country.

Talk about poetic justice.
