Shocking: Kamala Harris Declares Herself Most Qualified President Ever

Kamala Harris is at it again, riding the wave of her own hype like it’s an Olympic sport. In a recent sit-down with tech journalist Kara Swisher, Harris actually said, out loud, with a straight face, “Some people have said I was the most qualified candidate ever to run for president.”

Now, let’s just pause and soak that in. The most qualified ever. More than Lincoln. More than Jefferson. More than Reagan. She apparently thinks bouncing from one failing job to the next while cackling awkwardly the whole way is the new gold standard for presidential readiness.

Enter Dana Perino, who thankfully still has both feet planted in reality. On Fox News, Perino delivered the perfect history lesson for Harris and anyone else buying into this nonsense. She rattled off a list of names and résumés that actually earned their place in the “most qualified” conversation — Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, served as Secretary of State, was VP, then president. George H. W. Bush? Congressman, ambassador to the U.N., envoy to China, CIA Director, VP, and a war hero who actually flew combat missions in WWII. And even Joe Biden, as much as it pains people to admit, had a longer list of qualifications than Kamala before stepping into the West Wing.

This whole thing speaks to a larger issue that conservatives have been pointing out for years: Democrats love shiny résumés and talking points, but the results? Not so much. Kamala Harris was handed major assignments as VP — border crisis, voting rights, foreign diplomacy — and she fumbled nearly all of them. When she shows up at the border, it’s a photo op. When she gives speeches, they’re word salads with dressing made of buzzwords. Her record doesn’t scream “qualified,” it whispers “failing upward.”

And let’s not ignore the whispers (and some not-so-quiet shouts) about how Harris even got into this position. Rumors of a “silent coup” in July 2024 where Biden was quietly nudged aside by party elites might not be front-page news, but they’re not exactly tinfoil-hat territory anymore either. The timing was a little too perfect, and suddenly the Democrats rallied behind a historically unpopular VP as their new star?
