Somali Socialist Muslim Wins Democrat Endorsement in Major City

Minneapolis is barreling toward a political earthquake this November, and it’s being led by none other than self-proclaimed socialist Omar Fateh — a man who has openly declared that his Somali heritage comes before anything else, including the country he’s campaigning to help govern.

On Saturday, Fateh secured the official endorsement of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL) in his bid to unseat Mayor Jacob Frey, a move that all but seals the deal thanks to Minneapolis’s ranked-choice voting system and the DFL’s dominance in the city. With this endorsement in hand, Fateh becomes the frontrunner to replace Frey, the same guy who handed over a police precinct to rioters, cried next to George Floyd’s gold-plated casket, and then danced with the crowd that burned half the city.

The DFL convention itself was, in classic fashion, a technical mess. Reports of glitches and irregularities were brushed aside as Fateh gave his victory lap on X, saying, “It’s a mandate to build a city that works for all of us.” Translation: it’s time for socialist policy, identity politics, and open defiance of federal law.

Fateh has made it clear where his loyalties lie. In a recent campaign video, he vowed to stop the Minneapolis Police Department from working with ICE under any circumstance. “Our residents deserve a mayor who will stand up to Donald Trump and say, ‘No, not in our community.’” Never mind that Trump isn’t even in office — the Left still uses his name as a scarecrow for everything they don’t like.

Sound familiar? That’s because Fateh is basically Minneapolis’s version of Zohran Mamdani, New York City’s pro-communist mayoral candidate who just stunned Democrats by knocking out Andrew Cuomo. Like Mamdani, Fateh is calling for rent freezes, a $20 minimum wage, and a city government that serves the “working people” — though his definition of working people seems to include illegal immigrants and anti-police activists.

Frey’s campaign, for what it’s worth, is crying foul over the convention chaos. His team called the process “flawed and irregular” but acknowledged that the general election will offer a stark contrast in leadership styles — if we can even call either one “leadership.”

The election is November 4. Minneapolis voters now face a choice between a failed progressive mayor and a hard-left socialist who promises to make things even worse. Good luck with that.

  • Democrats goals of communist ideology spread is being met! Obama aided in this when he began bringing in thousands of Somalis to the U.S.

  • This POS communist needs to be arrested and charged under the Communist law of 1954, and deported ASAP.

  • They have changed their tactics, instead of attacking us violently, i.e. 9/11, they are encroaching on our Government, with just about every election cycle, somewhere in the US another Muslim is being elected, Congress especially, and now they are trying to become Mayors. I see a pattern here also coming out of Africa = Obama = Kenya, Mamdani = Uganda. We need to go out en masse and vote against these people or we are going to fall into these nefarious people hands eventually and forever..!!! Be warned, this is their strategy to completely conquer us/America.

  • The slow infiltration of America has begun!!!! The Demonrats are slowly electing these socialist commis to take down the United States!!! Wake up people this is not the American way. We don’t govern by sharia law but by OUR constitution!!!’ Stop it now before it’s too late!!!!
