BREAKING: Ex-FBI Director Christopher Wray Criminally Referred to DOJ

It’s about time someone put the so-called “untouchables” of D.C. under the microscope—and former FBI Director Christopher Wray just found himself dead center in the crosshairs. In a major move toward accountability (or as President Trump would call it, draining the swamp), the Oversight Project has officially referred Wray for criminal investigation to the Department of Justice and the FBI. Yes, the same DOJ he used to run interference with.

The referral accuses Wray of lying to Congress and obstructing two high-profile cases. First, his misleading testimony regarding the FBI’s targeting of traditionalist Catholics. Second, his completely unbelievable denials about foreign interference—specifically, China’s efforts to interfere in the 2020 election with mass-produced fake IDs. If proven, Wray could be looking at up to seven years in prison.

Let’s start with the Catholic memo. In 2023, the FBI labeled certain Catholic Americans as potential domestic terror threats—because going to Latin Mass is now apparently suspicious behavior in Biden’s America. Wray told Congress the memo was just a rogue document from a single field office in Richmond, Virginia. But internal documents and whistleblowers say multiple offices were involved. That’s called lying under oath.

Then there’s the election fraud cover-up. Back in 2020 and 2021, Wray testified there was no evidence of a coordinated voter fraud effort, domestic or foreign. But now we know that wasn’t true. Customs and Border Protection had seized nearly 20,000 counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses—most from China—months before the 2020 election. There was also an FBI intelligence report detailing a CCP-linked operation to use fake IDs to manipulate mail-in voting. That report was buried. Wray, the head of the FBI at the time, knew about it—and then flat-out denied its existence under oath.

If that’s not obstruction, what is?

The timing is no coincidence. Under Director Kash Patel, the FBI is no longer a protection racket for the elite. Just last week, Fed Chair Jerome Powell was also referred to DOJ for manipulating interest rates to help the Biden-Harris ticket in 2024. Now it’s Wray’s turn in the spotlight, with probes also circling around James Comey and John Brennan. The deep state’s walls are crumbling.

Whether Wray actually sees the inside of a courtroom is another story—but the criminal referral sends a strong message: no more free passes for the corrupt elite.

Yes, he should be prosecuted. And it shouldn’t stop with him.
