DOJ Responds After WSJ Claims Bondi Told Trump He’s in Epstein Files

Here we go again…another week, another weak attempt by the liberal media to dig up some half-baked, cobweb-covered Epstein angle and slap President Trump’s name on it. This time, it’s courtesy of The Wall Street Journal, which has apparently traded in its reputation for actual journalism in exchange for clicks and left-wing brownie points.

So, what’s the new “bombshell”? According to WSJ, back in May, Attorney General Pam Bondi told President Trump that his name popped up a few times in the Epstein files. Cue the pearl-clutching from MSNBC. But here’s the kicker—Bondi explicitly said the information was unverified hearsay. That’s legalese for “a bunch of gossip that wouldn’t stand up in traffic court.”

The report goes on to note that President Trump was told a “truckload” of documents mentioned a lot of names. Not just his. But of course, the media only zeroes in on Trump. Because mentioning that other powerful names appeared would ruin the narrative. And let’s not pretend this is journalism. It’s a hit piece with a digital press badge.

And just in case you needed proof this was political theater, WSJ threw in a bonus round last week with another piece of “evidence”—a so-called “bawdy” birthday letter allegedly written by Trump for Epstein’s 50th. Supposedly it featured a sketch of a naked woman and a squiggly signature that looks like it could’ve come from any third grader with a Sharpie. President Trump flat-out denied he wrote it. But when has a denial ever stopped the left-wing media machine?

The letter, according to the Journal, was collected by Ghislaine Maxwell as part of a birthday album in 2003—years before Epstein was even arrested. And get this: they admit they don’t even know if it was part of the files reviewed by Trump’s DOJ. So let me get this straight—the evidence is unverified, contextless, and possibly irrelevant. But sure, let’s plaster it all over the front page like it’s Watergate 2.0.

Naturally, the Democrats ran with it. And naturally, President Trump’s supporters—including Rep. Ralph Norman—shrugged it off. “We were with [Trump] last night. He’s fine. He’s gonna release everything.” Translation: he’s not hiding, because there’s nothing to hide.

Meanwhile, the Justice Department came out swinging, calling the story what it is: “a collection of falsehoods and innuendo designed to push a bulls*** narrative.” Can’t say it any better than that.

What we’re seeing isn’t reporting. It’s desperation. The left knows they can’t beat President Trump in a fair election, so now they’re resorting to whisper campaigns using dusty Epstein files and anonymous “sources.” Funny how these smears only ever show up when Trump is surging in the polls.

This is all political theater dressed up in “investigative journalism.” And the American people aren’t buying the ticket.
